Our Story
Welcome you to my website to explore some of my delightful creations
I’m Aparna, the founder of Soaked in Nature. I am just like any of you who has gone through a full circle of life to realise that the most powerful thing in this world is our connection with nature. With myself having a combination, sensitive and an acne prone skin, I have always been passionate about natural ingredients and believed how they can help care for our skin.
I remember the times during our childhood, when my mom used to make homemade face/body packs and scrubs for me and my sister. I still cherish the moments of using them together with my sister and mother. My granny used to make homemade ‘Kohl’ for our whole family. These natural products helped us keep our skin healthy and glowing.
Fast forward, in 2014, my life took a BIG (happy) turn when I got married and moved to England. Soon after that I conceived my son. My skin started to flare up due to hormonal changes and PPD. I started to feel that I was losing against everything. It’s then that I came across a quote that changed my life – ‘Happy Mom, Happy Home’. I knew I had to prioritise myself to be able to do anything I want to. I wanted to bring moments of self-care and togetherness back into our life.
And there you go, a few years later, I started my journey again to make my own skincare products for regular use to help with my skin, hair and calm my mind. This started to become more like a hobby and then a passion. The most critical step was to educate myself. I started to read, research and enroll into various courses to learn more about natural ingredients, natural oils and essential oils. Soon, my creations started to have a great, positive, visible effect on my skin and I as a result received many enquiries from my friends and family about my skincare regime. On Birthdays, festivals and other special
moments, I started to gift these products to my family and friends. With their positive reviews, feedback and encouragement I decided to launch these pure, all-natural and truly caring products and share my products and the life-changing experience with you.
Apart from this, what really came back were the moments of togetherness. Due to the products being natural and safe for use by anyone including children, family and friends, I started to have ‘’twinning moments’’ with my husband and son. We began using the products together and creating moments of joy and very special memories. Even now, our first and foremost item in the packing list for any holiday are our much-loved scrubs and packs. I am sure that your skin will immediately fall in love with these products and it’s aroma of goodness, just like I did whilst creating them.
Each of these product is blessed with positivity and the smell of nature. These are meant to heal your skin from inside and give you a healthy natural glow. For me ‘Soaked in Nature’ is not just a skincare brand but an affectionate brand with a purpose and strong ethics. We will not just be touching people’s lives but also ensuring that our ‘environment’ is not negatively impacted at all. I would love for anyone associated with this brand to feel that they are doing their bit for ‘themselves’, ‘community’ and the ‘environment’.
